Christmas Letter 2014

The adult children are coming home, the stockings are hung by the fire with care, Sally (our dog) has been washed and dried, we have some presents and they'll so be wrapped. What could go wrong.

Yikes, 10 of Catherine's mates from Redhot & Blue (her a cappella group) will be staying with us for a week: January 3-11. No, really, this will be great. They are all used to touring. In 2014 Catherine traveled with them to Houston, the East Coast, Copenhagen and London. She is in her junior year at Yale, and was just elected to the engineering honor society (Tau Beta Pi) - following in her father's footsteps. And with C.J. marrying Courtney, she feels like she's gained three new sisters: Courtney, Caitlin and Carrie! www.catherinejameson.org

C.J. and Courtney have celebrated their four month anniversary! It was a great August wedding - how a could a party set by the Beyers go wrong? C.J. has been through Dev Bootcamp and started a new job as a software engineer for Pivotal Labs in San Francisco. He rides the train more (like every day, from Palo Alto or Menlo Park), and plays bridge and soccer a bit less.

Anne just finished with fall quarter, is happy with her research projects, faculty duties and especially with her greenhouse of succulents, bromeliads, tilandsias and cacti. To wit:

Chuck hasn't changed much, still cookin' (literally and figuratively), playing tennis, doing that digital media thing for church, and walking Sally twice a day. Sometimes Anne comes along, and when it's very nice we walk by the beach. (Oh yeah Californians, 21% of the world's fresh water just sloshing around on our sandy beach. Take that. Take the Bears too, please.)

Best wishes to you and yours in 2015.

Give us a call, or a skype, or hangout, or ... whatever.

And here is our Christmas card:
